9:57 pm - July 24, 2004 So it was Kiefer (who looks remarkably like Colin Farrell (sp?) from a short distance) versus Srichaphan. I expected S-phan to win, but each game went to like, 5 deuces, and I am not overexaggerating. It took forever. Eventually, Kiefer won in two sets, both in tiebreaks, I believe. It was a chilly evening, and made less enjoyable by the annoying Asian girl behind me who kept talking and saying things like, "Keefy weefy." Yeah, she was like 13, and she was SOOOO annoying. And then there was the lady that had to be from Thailand screaming "SRICHAPHAN SO SO!!!" Or at least that is what I understood. Today was better. I got there and saw my Ryan right away, who was excited to be working Andy's match, rather than anyone that is dumb, short, and French cough*Grosjean*cough. I went and sat, and eventually they brought out the second most gorgeous guy EVER. Yeah, Andy. And Ivan Ljubicic came out too. After a horrible first set by Andy (1-6), he started to play better and won in two tiebreaks, the second set one being incredibly intense. It was 12-10. I loved it. I held up my sign for Ryan, and he saw it and was amused. We stayed to watch Kiefer and Carraz, and Kiefer won, so that's the final for tomorrow, which is where I shall be at 12:30. Planted in my perfectly wonderful seat, letting my skin burn more than it did today, if possible. Our seats are great. Sure they're not comfortable, but are anyone's? I mean, I'm in the perfect center of the court, at one end, so I don't have to turn my head every time someone hits the ball. And we're like, 13 rows back I think. It makes me sooo happy. I was like 30 feet from Andy. Okay, maybe a bit more, but close enough. Anyway, I'm going to try and die now. Love Always, Alison
