7:08 am - September 01, 2004 Monday's classes weren't that bad. I mean, I basically hated them all, but they were 50 minute classes and I was done for good at 12:50, so I guess it wasn't all bad. I am pretty sure I spent that evening in the company of Jeannie, Kristen, Corey, and Brian again. Doing nothing. Tuesday was a little ... better I guess. I am having trouble deciding how I feel about my classes. I had a two hour biology lecture, which felt more like a lab. The class went by pretty quickly though. And after that I had a two hour chemistry lab, which also went by pretty quickly, but it took freaking forever to get everything done, and I don't know if I did it all right. Then I had most of the rest of the afternoon to do my homework, which I finished. I took my Religion book with me to Jeannie and Kristen's match and read it while they played. I was of course there with Brian and Corey. So then I went to dinner by myself and read some more and then went to Music class, which only lasted one hour of the supposed to be 2 hours. I came back and watched tennis for about 2 and a half hours. Jim came over and made ridiculous conversation as is customary for him. He is crazy, needless to say. Then came the Hall meeting at 9. There were sooo many people in that lobby that it was crazy. But after that, we had our floor meeting which Heather warned us it would be long. Which it definitely was. I volunteered to be an RHA representative. (Resident Hall Association.) Basically, I represent the floor at the meeting and then report back to the floor with what happened, latidatida. Lovely. Well, because the meeting lasted so long, we started to get a little bored. So there's this awesome guy Robert. He's in like fifty billion clubs, and he's telling us this story about his soccer team. So eventually we're all four talking to him and enjoying ourselves much better. We started talking about Gamma Gamma Gamma somehow and decided we should make our own fraternity and call it that. So I am the vice president of that now. Robert is obviously president. Our temporary mascot is Jeannie's blister...Bobby. Don't ask. Robert's crazy. The five of us volunteered to be on the committee for decorating the hall. After the floor meeting, we had a short Gamma3 meeting and then came back to our room. On the way, I stole Paul's drumstick and hid in my room with the door locked. So when I finally decided I would take it back, I went out the door, and he was hiding on the other side of the door and put me in a chokehold and took me hostage temporarily. Always good. So then Robert came and said since I wasn't doing anything, we should go and work on Gamma3 stuff. So I went to his room, and we just started talking, and I ate like, half of his bag of grapes. I couldn't help it. I was hungry, and he gave me food. Anyway. We ended up talking about how I've played soccer for 4 years and he needs an assistant coach. So he asked if I would be willing to help, and I said that I would. So I am now one of 3 assistant coaches for the Howe Academy soccer team. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to make it to many games, which I just noticed this morning. Why? Because they're Tuesday nights, and that's when I have my night class dangit. Oh well. I'm feeling whelmed. (I know you can be overwhelmed, and I think you can be underwhelmed...but can you ever just be whelmed?) WHAT MOVIE??? Today is the day of FIVE classes. Woot. Love Always, Alison PS: Andy won last night! Even if I did miss the entire thing!
