9:46 pm - October 20, 2004 Sunday...I went to church at Count Mumfort (I'm stealing it Steve) and then went to Park Chapel! I got to sit with Bernie, who was a welcome sight with his ridiculous facial hair and "Say Yes to Michigan" shirt. I love him...and I told him that in Chinese. Lol. But then I got to see Jonathan. And that really made me happy. We caught up on a couple of things, and we're going to try and get together sometime when he isn't so busy. He's going to IUPUI next year, so he'll be a lot closer, and hopefully I"ll see him more often. What else did I do on Sunday? Mom and I went to Wal-Mart and bought out the store...except not really. We got an awful lot of stuff though. Then I went shopping with my sister and Brinny, and Brinny and I got shirts that both say "Pass me a note in gym class." We had a good time going through the little girls' bins at Old Navy. I got an awesome purse, as well. $7 total. Nice job...that's what happens when you shop with Brinny though. Sunday night...I think I stayed at home and didn't do a whole lot...big surprise. Monday, Mom woke me up at 11:00...I would have been out for a long time. I got ready, and we went to town. We went to lunch at Arby's, went to drop off some old formal dresses, went to look for new shoes for me, then I VOTED!!! for the first time. I was excited. Then we went to see Jordan's mommy, which was fun. I miss their house so much. She looks like she's lost more weight, if that's possible. Then I came home and slept for an hour and a half until Steve called. He came over after dinner and we watched baseball and football and Fear Factor and Jeopardy until midnight and he went home. Got up at 10 am on Tuesday and got ready. I took Casie lunch at school. Talked to Madelon, the soccer girls, and Mrs. Brooks! I love that woman. Of course, there was the ensuing drama with Brandon and his friends, but I should have expected that. It's just annoying. I'm like...you're 16 years old and you annoy me. Brandon was embarrassed, I think. That's okay, I like him...just not them. Then Steve and I went to his house and made peanut butter sandwiches and ate grapes. We talked for a while, and then I left and picked Casie up from school. I went to the elementary school and saw my dad and his kids, and then I went back home. The parents brought me back here after a dinner stop at Fazoli's. I hate that I have to go home again this weekend. I'm so anti-going home every FREAKING weekend. I mean, home's nice...but doesn't it get old? Now I know why all of the college kids at home last year complained about wanting to be back at school. It's so much more fun here, even if I do have to do work. I miss my parents and Casie, but I love it here. I can't understand why people would want to go home every weekend. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of college? I thought we were supposed to be gaining independence. What kind of independence is it if you spend a whopping 5 days away from home at a time? Oh well, guess there are some things in life I just can't understand. We had some ensuing drama when the parentals were here, but things are settled now. I got the last of my grades today. 5 A's and 1 freaking B+. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I was soooo mad! I got my B+ in Honors Religion, and it was just because of my essay test. I hate that. There are so few grades, and I got a...88 on my essays, so...whatever!! Darn you Dr. Kea! Douglas just told me that MV won Soccer Regionals as well. Hahaha to the Devils of Richmond! Seriously...it would suck to have Satan as your mascot...and I'm not talking John Kerry. Oh, something else I meant to speak on was that Natalie and I are okay now. We talked it out last night, and now I want to see her like, immediately so that we can do what we do best...rape each other. Hehe. Now if I could just figure out what Tom's deal is... Well, Operation Jeannie has been going successfully. Today was great! I think we safely returned with like, 6 items. You'll have to come to the room if you want to know what I mean. I've enjoyed my time with them lately. Gotta love the gal pals! I think we're going to the Headless Horseman thing at Connor Prairie on Sunday...but I want to go to Peter's choir concert, so I'm unsure of what I want to do. Rubbish. Tomorrow is shopping day for the 406 girlies! We gotta decorate this place, so we're off to BED BATH AND BEYOND! Only one of the greatest stores ever! Woo! GO BOSTON RED SOX!!!! So long... Love Always,
