Ahhh, Saturday. A day meant for resting. However, it's the Saturday before Finals which means studying all the live long day. It's going to be really hard to try and force myself to study. Because you know, I just don't want to. But I know that I need to get an A on both of my finals for Monday to keep A's, so whatever.
Last night was winter formal. Woo for Alison trying something new. Jeannie is like, really big into dancing. And she was upset that neither Kristen or I like to dance very much. So when she went out to dance, we both went with her, and we had a blast. That slit in my dress last night was useful for something.
I think the shadiest part of last night was when we walked in. I think that I was in the middle of Jeannie and Kristen, and Corey and Marielle were standing there when we walked in. Corey smiled at me and said, "Hey Alison, how's it going?" And didn't say a word to the other two. I like Corey a lot; I think he's a great guy. I just don't know how I feel about being the only one that he will still say hi to. I mean, he's changed a lot from what I can tell since he's started dating Marielle. He and Brian used to be really really close, and now...he's with her all of the time. And he used to walk me to Religion sometimes when he saw me, or cut across the mall to walk with me. But now he leaves with his girlfriend. And I'm not saying that it's bad that he wants to spend so much time with her, but he's kinda just ditched all the rest of his friends, and I feel bad for Brian in particular. Jeannie and Kristen could care less, but I miss him too. Halloween night, when we went out together the five of us, was soooo much fun!
Most of this week has been PRETTY boring. I know that Thursday night, we went to Kristen's aunt's house, and she made us lasagna. It was really good. We helped work on this insanely hard puzzle for a while, and then we watched the OC!!!! Woo for the OC! Seth Cohen/Adam Brody is the second love of my life. And who would believe that Lindsey's mom is the lady that had an affair with Caleb? I MEAN COME ON!!! Jeannie is getting the first season for Christmas, so we will be able to get caught up from last season once we get back to school. Woo!
So let's see...today, my Papaw and my Daddy brought me my futon for Christmas, and it's Maroon and pretty. So our living room now looks like an actual living room. It's lovely. The 3 of us can all lay down, or at least recline and study together! Then they took me to lunch at O'Charlies. The rest of the day has been spent studying. I'm taking a short break now before I break into another Religion essay here shortly. Good times. We think we deserve a break later, so we're going to go and buy ourselves some Ben and Jerry's and rent a movie, either Dodgeball or Bourne Supremacy. Good times. I still have some stuff to get done tonight though. I need to read my Psych notes again, review my music playlist, and write one essay. So I should probably jump on that.
Tomorrow consists of more studying, followed by going to the Christmas concert! Handbells, orchestra, and choir. Lots of Peter for me! Woo! Hehe. My mommy's coming, and we're going with the girls to see the concert. That is our break for tomorrow.
