10:46 am - December 28, 2004 So let's talk about the world's most amazing Christmas present. Her name is Tinkerbell (Tink) and she's a Welsh Corgy. She comes up to about my ankle and is probably the world's cutest puppy ever. She is teething because she's only like, 9 weeks old, which means that she chews on everything, but she's still adorable. And she thinks she's bigger than she is, so she tries to jump on everything. And the cats despise her...mainly because she chases them through the house. But she's wonderful, and I love her to pieces. She gets tired after running around like a maniac for a while and just flops over on the ground and sleeps for hours at a time. It's kind of amusing, really. So I got some pretty decent things for Christmas, the DVDs I wanted (sans one) and my beloved Kelly Clarkson CD. The pants we ordered me have to be sent back because I'm fat. Lol, just kidding, but they are really small. And I didn't get my hoodie from American Eagle; so I have to decide if I want to buy it myself or not. Because I am really trying to save up money for Barbados right now. I don't want to spend much more money because I'm going to need some clothes for Barbados, and probably another swimsuit. Which I'm tempted to go and order offline right now actually. I wonder if Venus Edge is still having its crazy sale. Anyway, the 26th, I went with Jordan to the Macy side of the family. Joe, Casie, and I took bets on when Brock would take his shirt off. He never did! I was in shock. And his mother actually corrected him on doing something socially unacceptable. Go Melinda! We watched the Colts game as soon as we were done opening presents, and then Jordan and I left a little early so we could get back home and get ready for the ball that night. I ended up with curlers in my hair for an hour, watching the Colts game and playing with Tink. The ball was a lot of fun. I got to see Adam again and meet Andy for the first time, really. I mean, we'd been introduced before, but we hadn't really talked. I like him a lot; he kinda reminds me of Say in a strange way, but a little more normal. Jordan and I are going to visit him in Vincennes with Adam. I'm looking forward to that a lot, actually. I hope Jeannie and Kristen can come up and go out to eat with us because that would be wonderful. Yesterday was spent dying on the couch. I had my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday morning. I don't remember much about it. I know I got an IV put in my arm, but I couldn't really tell because I had so much of that nitrous oxide going by then. And when I woke up, I was still on a little bit of a high from it. So I was singing "Puff the Magic Dragon" and sliding into walls and telling my sister she looked ugly. Aren't I nice when I'm drugged? Yes, definitely. I'm doing considerably better than Casie is though. She's been pretty nauseated, and I ... well, I haven't. I think I'm going to try and eat normal food today. I had soup, a milkshake, and chili yesterday. Talk about wonderful food. Jordan brought me my milkshake, and I'm pretty sure that was the best thing I had to eat. It was good until the very end, when my teeth started to chatter because I was cold, and that hurt like hell. As long as my pain medication is working, I usually feel okay. But man, when I woke up this morning, I thought I was going to kill myself! It sucks majorly. Casie says her stitches are bothering her, but I don't even feel mine, so that's always good...I hope. Okay, I'm going to go and watch the Bourne Supremacy again, I do believe. I kinda want to go shopping, but my face is slightly swollen, so I don't want to go and look retarded. Everyone come and visit me (bring my chocolate milkshakes or Frosties) and come play with the puppy! Love Always,
