7:42 pm - February 14, 2005 Today has been absolutely amazing. I got up after 5 and a half hours of sleep and managed to be functioning pretty well throughout the day. I was proud of myself. I stayed awake through classes. It was good. Then I got back here after Spanish, and what was sitting at the front desk? That's right, a dozen roses from Jordan. Then I get back after Math, and what's sitting on my bed? A box of chocolates! I was so thrilled! I never get chocolates, and I love them! So Yay!!!! And I got an awesome present from my daddy yesterday, so I'm really excited about that. It's just so darn cute. Tonight we're going to watch the Bachelorette, and then the Notebook! Yay! I'll probably BAWL my eyes out again, but that's what I do. It's definitely the greatest movie ever. I may burn it from Jeannie, since I've got this DVD burner and all. I went to Notre Dame on Saturday and Sunday of this past weekend, which was awesome. I kept myself in decent check on Saturday night. I didn't live up to my expectations, but I also had a change of heart once we got to the hotel. Then I ended up not doing as much as I thought I would once we got to the dorms. So...I'm not real proud of the fact that I did it, but I kept myself in control, so that's positive, right? Oh well. We had fun with Nick, TJ, and Kyle. We spent two hours at TGI Friday's, partied at Nick's room, slept for 10 hours at the hotel, checked out, did homework, went to the Notre Dame/Marquette tennis match, Wendy's, more homework, UIndy/Notre Dame tennis match, McDonald's, home. Friday night, we went to the hockey game with Brian and the UIndy/Olivet Nazarene tennis match. Good times, I'd say. Then we partied with Amy, Brandon, and Adam at Brian's quad with Jackson and Grant, Jesse, Corey, two girls from Hollister, and I think that's it. Peter's brother's wedding went very successfully and smoothly, which I was glad to hear about. I got to see pictures. He looks ridiculously like his brother! It's crazy. He and his sister also look alike, and his parents are precious. It was cute though. And I got to see the video of him singing, which he did wonderful in, as expected. The kid has a voice like you can't believe. Welp, I'm gonna finish off my sparkling white grape juice that we stole from the cafeteria today. (A whole bottle! YUM!) And Jordan should be calling shortly. If I get one more call for this Dennis dude on my phone, I"m going to find Dennis and HURT HIM! Love Always, PS: I only know one thing that could make this day better, and I think it's going to happen!
