6:10 pm - February 27, 2005 Saturday, I slept in until noon, which was lovely. Then I got up, got ready, and Peter and I went to McDonald's and then to Southport for the MV girls' semi-state game. We had to leave after the first half so he could get back here for his Violin Masterclass. Then I kinda cleaned around here and watched the UConn/Pitt game until Britt, Kim, and Steve showed up. So we went to Taco Bell and then Dairy Queen. We came back here, borrowed The Day After Tomorrow from Peter, and watched that. Then we just kinda hung out and talked until 11:30ish. It was really great to see them. Kim and I did a lot of talking, which was much appreciated. Today...I got up at 6:15 and got ready for church. We got there at about 8. (We is me, Peter, and Sam.) And I sat and read in the Parlor while Peter practiced for bells, and Sam practiced with the choir. I got to meet Chris, the choir director. The man has quite a voice. Then I went and sat through the first service. The sermon was kind of long, but I like this church. It's very much like MCUMC's 10:40 service. So I feel rather at home here. Then we went back to the parlor for the social half hour. Before Sam and Peter got out of changing from their choral robes, this guy Andrew came and sat down by me. He was like, 28, and he was from Kansas City. He graduated from Purdue in 2000, and he's a pilot. And he used to go to church there, so he was talking to me. And then Peter and Sam came back and sat down, and as soon as Andrew left, Peter leans over and goes, "He was hitting on you. Or at least interested in you." And that disturbed me, but apparently, I'm not very good at picking up when people are doing things like this. So I'm going to be taught. Then I sat and read for the first part of the second service until Sam and Peter finished singing and then we left early. We came back here, changed, and then went over to lunch. We ate with Todd, Eric, Emily, Diana, and Dathan. It was good times. Eric stabbed my cake, and I called him an asshole, which was just wonderful. Then I came back here and slept until all of the drama woke me up at 2. And I fixed my math homework for tomorrow. And then kinda watched Celebrity Poker and did basically nothing for quite some time. I'm still doing nothing, obviously. Just listening to my music, since Ares is finally being nice to me again. It still won't connect, so no one can download any music, which is dumb. But oh well. Only 10 more days of classes until I'm free to go home for a week plus. I think I have a job interview at the PT place. Which would be great. Working on the North side and the East side being an aide at PT places. I don't know what to do until the Oscars come on. Hmmmmm....
